Notice something different? HeartBeats has a whole new look. But let me assure you that Joy Christian Center’s small group ministry still has the same heart. Finding a place for everyone and helping everyone find their place is still what it’s all about.

Have you noticed that much of what we do in life is done in small groups? Most of these groups share some kind of identity or purpose. From co-workers to teammates, family, friends, and neighbors, the more you look around the more you’ll notice that life happens in groups! For some reason, that doesn’t always translate to a person’s experience at church. Sometimes people feel lost in the “crowd.” Other people have gifts or abilities, talents, and interests that they are passionate about and wonder how they can use them to bless others.

At Joy, our goal goes beyond sharing a message on Sunday morning. Our greatest desire is to help you find fulfillment and joy in doing life together with other believers as you grow in your faith. HeartBeats provides numerous ways to be involved with these life-changing groups and helps you take practical steps to develop the God-given purpose and passion of your heart Many at Joy are finding and developing lasting friendships and encouragement through common interests that are shared through HeartBeats.

Summer is almost over, school is about to start, and the “post summer” routine will soon begin. Why not consider another fall routine and get involved in HeartBeats. Take some time and look through the current HeartBeats directory. I’m sure there is a group that will fit you.
