A work friend who is going through a divorce, Roxanne, came to our

church a few weeks ago and last week brought her 9yr old son Zach and 12

year old daughter Ariel.  The children were very bored with their

'religious' background and did not want to come believeing it would be

just like all the others, but mom told them they had to go and check it

out.  Zach was hesitant to go to childrens church but when he saw a

school buddie he was made more comfortable and agreed to attend.  
 

After service I asked Zach what was the funnest thing they did in kids

church.  He gave a big smile and giggled and said the rock song with the

puppet show.  I told him that our church is fun and God is fun.
