Our Mission & Vision

A family church teaching people to reach their world

At Joy we love God, the family and desire to make disciples of Jesus Christ throughout each of our spheres of influence. We'd love for you to join us and get plugged in on our journey.

Church should be fun

Life is too short to not enjoy it, but let’s face it, people have found that church can be irrelevant and … boring. We want to change that because we know that God is very relevant and experiencing God’s love, forgiveness and acceptance is NEVER boring!

Church should be excellent

Jesus shed precious blood for His Church and we believe that a spirit of excellence glorifies God. This is the reason we give Him the very best in all that we do.

Church should be helpful

The Bible has been written to help us understand God as well as apply His life-changing truth to our lives. We’ll use every means available to communicate that truth in creative ways so that ultimately we can understand and apply it to our lives.

ABOUT JOY

A Community of Grace

We are a church comprised of people from many different religious, social, and cultural backgrounds. Even so, we have all found a common bond in our commitment to Jesus Christ.

Each week we offer opportunities for the entire family to connect with God with services specifically designed for each age group, all reflecting the same theme. These services include praise and worship that is fun, heartfelt, and reflects the Joy we have in Christ, as well as teaching that speaks the practical issues in life.

WE BELIEVE

We Believe In One God

God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We Believe Jesus Christ Is The Son of God

…who became incarnate and was born of a virgin, being truly God and truly man.

We Believe In The Bible

…in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.

We Believe In Man’s Fall & Redemption

Man was made in the likeness of God, but through Adam, sin came into the world. Jesus gave His life and shed His blood to redeem mankind.

We Believe In The New Birth & Eternal Life

The new birth is necessary to all men and, when experienced, produces eternal life.

We Believe In Water Baptism

…a direct command of our Lord, for believers only, by immersion in water.

We Believe In The Baptism Of The Holy Ghost

…as distinct from the New Birth and evidenced by speaking with other tongues.

We Believe In Divine Healing

…provided for and wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and laying on of hands.

We believe that scripture teaches the family was the first institution provided to man by God himself

…that marriage is a sacred relationship that is between a man and a woman.

We Believe In The Return of Jesus To The Earth

…as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to rule for one thousand years.
